Principals:
Nick Segal, President of Partners Trust, has been a top residential broker on the Westside since 1990 with particular expertise in the Hollywood Hills, Sunset Strip and Beverly Hills. Nick was a founding principal of DBL, one of the most respected and recognized names in the history of Southern California real Estate. From 1998 through 2005, Nick led the company in a successful expansion effort which resulted in 9 company offices netting over $5,000,000 per year.
Nick sold his company to Sothebys International Real Estate in 2004 and remained on as a Sr. Vice President, Manager and consultant. Sothebys currently operates 5 of the most successful offices on the west side. Nick has served as a presiding Officer for the Beverly Hills Board of Realtors for over 11 years and currently chairs the ethics and education committee.
F. Ron Smith, Vice President, has been an active Brentwood broker since 1990 and is the undisputed leader in the sale of mid to high-end new construction homes. Ron represents many successful developers as well as hundreds of affluent clients. Ron and his wife Tracy are highly involved with several local community organizations and are particularly committed to the success and growth of Crossroads School.
Richard Stearns, Vice President, has been among the top brokers in Santa Monica and the surrounding communities since 1991. Richard was one of the founding brokers of the DBL Brentwood office in 2003, which rapidly grew to become the most successful real estate office in Brentwood. Richard has sold hundreds of homes in Santa Monica where he and his wife Elizabeth are deeply committed to community improvement. Currently, Richard serves on the Board of the Cornell University Council.
David Findley, Vice President, was named in 2008 as one of the Top 15 Real Estate Agents in the United States by The Wall Street Journal. First licensed in 1978, David’s expertise stretches from Hollywood Hills to Malibu, with a focus on the highest end of the market – estates, lifestyle properties, and international investors. David has handled many hundreds of millions of dollars in real estate transactions and currently serves on the Professional Standards Committee of The Beverly Hills Greater Los Angeles Association of Realtors.
Chief Operating Officer:
Chatty Arrieta is responsible for evaluating, reviewing, recommending and implementing systems, software and equipment at Partners Trust. With the President, she directs the overall operations of the main office, identifies and communicates significant issues, and collaborates, plans and oversees the growth and operation of the company.
Chatty began her career in the export/import industry managing multiple worldwide companies. She furthered her experience in management through her extensive involvement in the banking industry, along with a Fortune 500 consumer product company, and has specialized in helping real estate companies to grow and thrive since 1991 – including Prudential, John Aaroe, DBL, and Sotheby’s International Realty.
Just prior to joining Partners Trust, Chatty was responsible for overseeing the facilities of as many as 30 brokerage offices simultaneously. She has been often praised as a consummate professional, a valuable team player and is always results-oriented. Chatty is a charter member of the El Segundo Lions Club International and serves her community through various Lions Club events. She can often be found spending time with her husband and keeping up with her four children.
Social Media Director:
Dane Findley is Social Media Director at Partners Trust. Dane worked as a full time newspaper reporter and photographer before returning to university to obtain a masters degree in Counseling Psychology where he learned communication and active-listening techniques. Now, he advocates for relationships and client care — both during and after a transaction. Said Dane, “one of the favorite parts of my job is to help our team of talented associates create their own content — so that they can stay in touch with their cherished customers and remain helpful between transactions. For me, it’s a fun challenge: to create relevant content that provides clients with value, while at the very same time making it interesting and entertaining.”
