Beverly Hills Community Information

Beverly Hills encompasses luxury, fame, celebrities, tourism, and a sense of small community all in one central area of Los Angeles. With its location between Westwood to the West, West Hollywood to the East, and Beverlywood to the South, Beverly Hills is accessible to surrounding communities. The “flats” of Beverly Hills, one of the more recognizable areas of Beverly Hills, allow residents to walk and be in the heart of their community without the true need of a vehicle, but when needed there is an ease of access to major freeways and areas of Los Angeles with little effort. To the north is an area known as “Beverly Hills Post Office,” which offers increased privacy, canyons, and views, though this area does not always share in the benefits of the Beverly Hills school system.

The central area of Beverly Hills is world-famous for its luxury shopping and local businesses. The Cheese Store of Beverly Hills has been much-loved since 1967, providing high quality items from around the globe. More recently Prada on Rodeo Drive infused a great deal of money into the area by having the world-renowned Office for Metropolitan Architecture design their Beverly Hills location similar to their lavish Soho, New York store.

The Beverly Hills Film Festival has grown considerably from its 2001 conception. Occurring every year, this festival is well respected and admired for the talent that is shared amongst professionals.
