Why Abott Kinney, you ask? Well, named after its founder, Abbot Kinney is Venice’s beloved boho stretch, lined with top-notch restaurants, independent shops and popular bars. Find out why this beachy scene draws in Westside locals and tourists alike. It was named by USA today in 2008 as one of the top ten best streets in America.
Where else can you find outstanding restaurants, clothing stores, coffee shops and just great people-watching. It is located right in the middle of everything and walking-distance to the beach. There are no “big name” retailers or restaurants. Instead, it is a quaint street made up of mom-and-pop shops and restaurants.
What attracts a lot of people to live in Venice is this street. Many people who migrate here love the fact that it is a walking community and you really do not need a car, just your feet and or a bike.
